Veda Yogshala

Veda Yogshala is a women-led Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School (RYS 200) in Rishikesh, India, founded in 2015 by Yogacharya Pushpa Ji and Yogi Jay Ji. Rooted in the traditional yogic heritage of India, Veda Yogshala offers a supportive and authentic learning environment for students from around the world.

Founder Yogacharya Pushpa Ji began her spiritual journey at the age of 13 when she moved to Parmarth Niketan Ashram in Rishikesh. She studied Hindu traditions, Vedantic teachings, meditation, mantras and yoga under the guidance of respected spiritual teachers, including Mahamandaleshwar Swami Ashangananda Ji Maharaj, Swami Narayan Swarupa Maharaj and Swami Dashrathananda Ji Maharaj. Through years of dedicated practice and learning, she developed a deep understanding of Kundalini Kriya Yoga and meditation.

Veda Yogshala offers residential 100-hour and 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Courses, including Kundalini Yoga and Multi-Style Yoga Teacher Training. The programs combine asana, pranayama, meditation, kriya practices, yogic philosophy, anatomy and teaching methodology, helping students deepen their personal practice and develop the knowledge and skills needed to teach yoga.

Beyond teacher training, Veda Yogshala offers daily drop-in yoga classes, yoga and wellness retreats, meditation, Sound Healing, Reiki Healing and Yoga & Ayurveda experiences. The school welcomes both women and men from different cultures, backgrounds and levels of experience.

Women empowerment is an important part of Veda Yogshala’s vision. Through her work, Yogacharya Pushpa Ji encourages women to develop confidence, independence, inner strength and leadership while remaining connected to the traditional wisdom of yoga. With more than 13 years of teaching experience and thousands of students guided from around the world, she continues to share yoga, Ayurveda and Indian spiritual traditions through Veda Yogshala.
