Welcome to the Network: Yoga Niloofar

A warm welcome to Yoga Niloofar, the newest studio to join Yoga Founders Network. Based in Qazvin, Iran, Yoga Niloofar is a yoga and wellness brand offering both in-person and online classes for practitioners of different levels.

Their programs reflect a wide and thoughtful range: Hatha Yoga, Aerial Yoga, Swing Yoga, Meditation, Relaxation, and mindful movement. With dedicated yoga studios, experienced instructors, and a growing online presence, Yoga Niloofar aims to make yoga accessible to a wider international community. We are glad to have them here, and glad to share a little more about the person behind the work.

Where it began

When we asked what first brought the founder to yoga, the answer was short and direct: "Anxiety, depression, panic attacks."

There is no decoration in that answer, and we appreciate that. Many people find their way to the mat not because they want to master a pose, but because they need somewhere to breathe. It is often that first, honest need that shapes the kind of space a teacher later builds for others.

From practice to purpose

Asked what made them take the leap into building a studio, the founder shared a vision that grew over time. "I wanted to create more than just a place to practice yoga. I wanted to build a space where people could reconnect with themselves, find peace, and grow stronger both physically and mentally. What started as a passion gradually became a bigger vision — and that’s how Yoga Niloofar was born."

That progression, from personal passion to a shared space, will feel familiar to many founders in our community. It also explains the breadth of the offering. Aerial and Swing Yoga sit alongside Meditation and Relaxation, giving students more than one way to move, rest, and return to themselves.

The part most people don't see

We always ask about the hardest part of this work, because it is rarely the part that appears online. The founder was candid: "The hardest part is that people see the beautiful side of the journey, but they don’t see everything that happens behind the scenes — the responsibilities, the challenges, the long hours, and the pressure of keeping everything running while continuing to grow."

They continued: "Building something from the ground up takes more than passion; it takes patience, resilience, and a lot of sacrifices that often go unnoticed."

If you run a studio, a school, or a teaching practice, you may have felt exactly this. Naming it plainly is part of why a network like this exists. Behind every calm class is a person carrying the logistics, and that effort deserves to be recognized.

What students take with them

When we asked what the founder hopes people feel when they leave a class or space, the answer was three words: "Happiness, peace, health."

It is a simple hope, and a fitting one for a studio that began with the founder's own search for steadiness. Whether a student joins in Qazvin or from somewhere far away through an online class, that is the feeling Yoga Niloofar is working toward.

A word for those just starting out

For anyone considering their own yoga journey or business, the founder offered this encouragement: "Keep going on and never disappoint, just Trust."

It is a short piece of advice, and it carries the same patience and resilience the founder described above. Some days the way forward is not clear, and trust is what keeps us practicing and building.
